Hi, I’m Ifrah.
I am currently in the process of completing my PhD in Clinical Psychology at Georgia State University, and I am a HRSA Graduate Psychology Education Program Fellow. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s degree in Psychological Research. My career is dedicated to understanding the relationship among racial oppression, trauma, and identity in communities that experience multilevel marginalization. I have a particular interest in community engagement work, the development of culturally-centered mental health interventions, and the enhancement of mental health care and access in Muslim, indigenous, migrant, refugee, and racially minoritized communities.
I am passionate about sharing my expertise and enhancing the wellbeing of individuals and communities through consultation work and professional collaboration. My goal is to support my consultation clients in building understanding and recognition around issues of power, privilege, and health, identifying concrete strategies that center cultural humility and respect, and engaging in meaningful conversations around equity, inclusion, and mental health care. Please reach out - I can’t wait to hear from you!
My Approach
Whether you are looking to advance your current understanding of inclusion and diversity work or just starting your journey in promoting equity in your business, organization, or community, I aim to support clients using a collaborative and compassionate approach to personal and professional growth. We live in a world that often calls on us to unlearn unhelpful ways of thinking and behaving so we can create communities that thrive on respect, understanding, and unity. I am here to help you do just that.
